Dennis: Hi there, Mr. and Mrs.Lindgren. We understand that you are the principal owner of this car, Right? So tell us about the car and why you’re selling the 1968 Cougar today?
Virginia: Oh it’s my darling, oh it’s my wonderful car, But Im so happy to have worked with Dennis. It’s time! I have been driving it for years, years ago I drove it cross country from Minnesota to California and many times, I’ve taught out here.
Dennis: So we have here a 1968 cougar, OK and judging from the paperwork that you showed me this morning that you bought it brand new, right?
Virginia: Yes, bought it brand new, brand new from Northern Minnesota Cougar.
Dennis: We have the original purchase order paperwork the day you bought it. OK, so that was in Minnesota, right and how long did you live in Minnesota before you moved to California?
Virginia: Two years, This car is great
Dennis: OK so, two years in Minnesota. So then you brought it to California and I see that you have original black plates for California, black plates that were you know, that came with the car when you register the car in California, so what’s your best memory of driving this 1968 cougar?
Virginia: It just sailed along, its alot of power, way back we could just zoom along. I came out with a girlfriend to teach, we saw the mountains for the first time, the beach. It was wonderful.
Dennis: So it was a big shock coming from Minnesota.
Virginia: Oooh Yes.
Dennis: OK, so we were talking about this earlier. Why did you just, why did you decide to sell your car to a dealer as opposed to selling it privately?
Virginia: You Dennis took care of everything! We found you on the internet, and you were extremely friendsly and took your time, you gave alot of your time to us, to talk with us and we just decided to sell to you.

This 1968 Cougar Fun Facts
The originally name Cougar was actually suggested for the Mustang.
Jaguar actually sued Ford for using the mountain lion logo which they said looked too simiar to the Jaguar logo. Jaguar actually won the suit and Ford had to add the name Cougar to the logo to avoid any confusion between two car bands.
