Someone To Buy My Classic Car

Dennis Goddard: Steve, tell us about this car that you’re selling today.

Steve: I purchase one originally in 1969 when I got out of the US Navy and I had it for a number of years. Meet my wife and she went out with my car because she said she really like it. It took me time getting her in talk to marry me, but in those day we didn’t have a great deal of money so I sold it. Took me a long time and I wanted another one, but mainly is because of the fact that the color that is underneath is bright red is the original color of my 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and it was called Green Slade. Now I need someone to buy my classic car.

Avoid Strangers Coming to Your House

Dennis: Oh ok got you. ok, great!

Steve: Anyway, that’s the way I purchased, I had a lot of fun with it, it doesn’t get driving much. I keep the millage low, it’s never turn over a 100 thousand, so that’s pretty much it right now.

Dennis: So the original one was also a 1969 Mach 1 like this one?

Steve: Original, right off the show room floor.

Dennis: And that’s what you used to snare the wife?

Steve: I made a trip. My brother flew out, I was station with the US Navy and I flew as crew member and I got hazardous duty pay. With Hazardous duty pay as I went up in rank I saved that money and saved and end up buying that car for around $6000. My brother and I took a trip all the way across the United States. Drove, took us about two and a half weeks. We went to Niagara Falls, Washington Monument, Yosemite, Yellow Stone, end it up in Vegas, a little toast and off we went back home. Now I need someone to buy my classic car.

We Handle All DMV Hassle

Dennis: So tell us about this one. This is also a 1969 Mach 1 right?

Steve: That is correct.

Dennis: So, when did you buy this one. Steve: I bought this in the year 2010.

Dennis: So you had it for right about nine years.

Steve: nine years.

Dennis: Great! Tell us, any good memories with this one that you had?

Steve: I had a lot of good memories with it. My wife was alive for a short period of time, due to heavy medical problems she passed away. I kept the car more in her honor and that was it.

We Are LA’s Top Buyer of Classic Cars

Dennis: I’m glad you mention that. So this car, you bought it somewhere together to commemorate the first 69 Mach 1 that you had it when you first met her? Steve: That is correct.

Dennis: Interesting, that’s a great history. Fast forwarding to today, why did you finally decided to sell this?

Steve: Is becoming to a point that it’s expensive to have and I decided to sell up because of the fact it just seats here. We start it every week and we take it out for a good run on the third week and we just keep on going. Every once in a while I make a travel trip maybe to a restaurant, I don’t like to take it there because people are careless opening their doors. Anyway, its became and item that just, its not a everyday car. Now I need Someone To Buy My Classic Car.

Dennis: Great, so why did you decide to sell to a dealer as oppose to selling it yourself privately.

Steve: The main reason is because of the fact that yourself who knows vehicles, you know a car dealer in comparison with an individual that just says “wow I liked, how much do you want” “you kidding me” and they just leave. They want it for like $300 bucks, and that’s pretty much it, its just something that takes up room in here and its time. I lost my wife, tried to keep it, more of a memory of her, she’s gone, so I decided to sell it.
