Dennis Buys Classic Cars

Did you inherit a classic car and don’t know where to start? Have you tried to sell your classic car and just aren’t having any results? Do you live in a remote area where there just are not enough prospects for your classic car? Or, are you just too busy to deal with the hassle of selling your classic car yourself?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions then Dennis Buys Classic Cars can help you. We are the experts in buying, selling, restoring and selling all types of classic cars.

Every day we get calls from some one who just inherited a classic Chevy, Ford, Mercedes or Jaguar. Many times the caller is overwhelmed with the estate; home, furnishings, bank accounts, etc. and dealing with the old car, truck or motorcycle out in the garage is something you need help with.

A common mistake is that sometimes owners of classic cars over-value their cars, put them up for sale through Craigslist, local advertising or eBay and get no results because they are asking too much. This can be a waste of valuable time and because classic cars are very specific regarding year, make and model. When you lower price, viewers of your ad will remember your car and won’t buy it because they think nobody wants it and there is something wrong with it.

If you live in a remote area it can also be difficult to sell your classic car. If you live in a densely populated area like Los Angeles it is a simple matter for someone to drive twenty minutes or so to come check out your car. If you are a one or two hour drive that is a different matter. We have the ability to come to you wherever you are.

The main motivation for you to sell us your classic car is time.
We know you are busy and selling a specialty car can be time consuming and a hassle. We will evaluate your car, make you a fair offer and pay cash on the spot.

You are not alone, there are hundreds of busy people just like yourself who need someone who buys classic cars and are happy they called us.

Dennis Buys Cars will buy not just classic cars but all types of cars trucks. We have now expanded into motorcycles also. If you or someone you has an old, neglected motorcycle lying around, call us and we will buy it! Don’t forget, we sell cars too!

Shaun Talks About Dennis Buys Classic Cars

Dennis Goddard: So Shaun, tell us about this car that you’re selling today.

Shaun: Today I am selling a 1973 Mercedes Benz 450SL, hardtop and a soft top. I selling it, it has been sitting around in my garage and needs to go to a good home.

Dennis: Tell us the ownership history of this car. How long have you had it and where did you get it?

Shaun: Somebody owned it first but my grandmother took it over about a year or two after it was manufactured. She gave it to me for my sixteenth birthday. I have kept it ever since and now it’s time to let it go and pass it on.

Dennis: So the car is a ’73 so you figured your grandmother got it in ’75?

Shaun: I would say “75 and it’s been in the family ever since.

Dennis: It looks to be pretty clean, you were saying earlier that it has very low mileage. What’s the mileage?

Shaun: It’s under 59,000 and its been garage kept ever since we have had it.

Dennis: How did you hear about Dennis at Dennis Buys Classic Cars?

Shaun: I heard about Dennis and Dennis Buys Classic Cars through the Google search. Google works good and it had a little green check mark so it was a verified company. That’s how I found it. I did a little bit more research , found out they were legitimate, that’s why I came down and everything worked out great.

Dennis: Do you remember what you typed in?

Shaun: I think it was “Buys Classic Cars”.

Dennis: Also I understand there was a unique method in which this car was bought by us, you live up by Victorville and of course we are here in Los Angeles. Tell us about that.

Shaun: Well initially I was going to bring it on down but that didn’t work out because I was going to trailer it so Dennis himself came up to the high desert, looked at it a little bit, we made a deal at my house and I drove it on down.

Dennis: How would you rate your overall experience here at Dennis Buys Cars?

Shaun: I am very satisfied with the experience. It was quick and easy. No hassle, really straightforward, easy to get along with. Dennis Buys Classic cars.

Dennis: What do you think the benefits are to selling a car to a dealer as opposed to trying to sell it yourself privately?

Shaun: Well privately it’s a little harder obviously, more time. I researched Google, made a phone call, they were willing to buy the car in thirty minutes, it took an extra day so Dennis could travel here to look at the car. Other than that the deal was made in thirty minutes. Selling privately could take days, weeks, way too much effort on my part.
