Dennis Buys Cars and Dennis Buys Classic Cars are the vision of its founder, Dennis Goddard. Dennis has had a love for cars since he was a toddler when he used to stand on the front seat of his father’s ’56 Ford and pretend to drive.
His entry into the world of classic and vintage cars was when he bought his first car, a 1960 MGA in British Racing Green that he bought from a high school buddy for $500 which was broken down into two payments of $250! He was involved in the buying of selling of classic and vintage cars ever since, all through his adult life and formally became a California Dealer in the year 2000. Since then he has taken his love for these historic icons from the past and turned it into a business and way of life.

Dennis Goddard: So Greg, tell us about this car you’re selling today.
Greg: So we sold this beautiful little 1978 Mercedes 450SL. It’s in beautiful shape, all original with original paint and interior.
Dennis: And why did you decide to sell this classic car today?
Greg: I found that Dennis buys classic and vintage cars online, I have to leave the country for a few months and the burden of storing and insuring the car when I’m gone I wanted it to go to someone who would enjoy the car.
Dennis: You mentioned that you did an online search, do you remember what it was that you typed in?
Greg: Classic and Vintage Cars, Used Cars, Buying Used Cars.
Dennis: Why did you decide to sell your car to a dealer instead of selling it privately?
Greg: I initially listed it on Craiglist and I got a lot of interest but sorting through the scams, the clowns and assorted people and I just don’t have time to mess around with people on Craigslist.
Dennis: And how would you rate your overall experience here selling classic and vintage cars here at Dennis Buys Cars?
Greg: I would give it a “ten”, I almost got my asking price and overall I am very happy.
